What will be your distribution?
I get that question a lot as I make my rounds, selling ads. We review the targeted area, the print run, priority . . . and routes. The beautiful thing is that, in most cases, our purposes complement theirs—we’re focused squarely on reaching the immediate community.
This is an important component; advertisers want to know how we’re getting their ads into the hands of their customer base. They want to know how we’re presenting the product, and assurance that a high percentage will pick it up.
And the stops we’ve sought have been responsive, even a few outside of our target area. To date, we’ve secured about 100 locations, high-traffic areas spread across West Nashville. The market will be saturated; this is good news for local businesses that need an affordable way to get the word out, and larger businesses that haven’t tested nor tapped into the thriving West Nashville market.
So we press on, sell ads and making sure they will ultimately receive optimum visibility.
